Text reads: The Low-Stress Cash Flow Planner

A set of simple (yet wildly effective) templates that help you understand where your money is coming from and where it’s going.

Imagine having a firm grasp on:

  • Exactly how much you’d like to pay yourself each month
  • What it costs to run your business every month
  • How much revenue you need to bring in to cover said expenses (and taxes!)
  • If you can afford fill-in-the-blank-thing (eg: hiring a VA, purchasing a course, joining a mastermind, or paying yourself more)

(Hint: it's entirely possible!)

Introducing:

The Low-Stress Cash Flow Planner

A computer, tablet, and mobile phone showing screen mock-ups of the planner, including bar chars and tables

A spreadsheet-based system for creating a living, breathing, simple-to-use yet high-impact budget and cash flow plan for your business.

👉🏻No complicated software to learn. If you know how to enter numbers into a spreadsheet, you’re good to go!

👉🏻Independent of your bookkeeping system (so if you’re behind or bookkeeping just isn’t your thing, you can still use and benefit from the planner)

👉🏻Currently available in Google Sheets. (An Excel version is coming late Q3 of 2024!)

All with the ultimate goal of helping you feel confident and comfortable in your cash flow, knowing you’ve planned for the future and are no longer making financial decisions in a vacuum.

The Low-Stress Cash Flow Planner will help you:

  • Nail down your desired take-home pay (and make sure it’s based on YOUR values and priorities, not the Jones’s!)
  • Determine how much revenue you ACTUALLY need to bring in to cover your expenses and pay yourself
  • Identify and eliminate spending leaks in your business
  • Plan for recurring and one-off expenses (like your monthly Mailchimp subscription AND that once-a-year mastermind trip)

Sounds pretty cool, doesn't it?

Here’s a 90-second sneak peek at what everything looks like:

Hey there, I'm Stephanie!

I provide shame-free and neurodivergent-friendly money support for witchy and weird entrepreneurs.

It's my absolute pleasure to provide bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash flow resources and support to misfit business owners, no matter where on their business journey they are. From simple spreadsheets, to DIY courses, to done-for-you services, I've got you covered.

And all this from a money person you ACTUALLY want to work with. You know, one who's queer, neurodivergent, adores cozy murder mysteries, and is obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons

Within the Planner you’ll get spreadsheets for:

👉🏻 Determining how much you’d like to pay yourself each month.

👉🏻 Creating a monthly budget for your business. (This is key for catching those spending leaks!)

👉🏻 Setting up a sales plan, so you can pin down exactly how you’ll meet your revenue goals.

👉🏻 Creating a 12-month cash flow forecast, so you can map out your finances for the whole year. (I love this for testing the sustainability of your budget!)

👉🏻 A summary that wraps everything up and gives you a big-picture view of your personalized financial plan.

Also included:

👉🏻 Short video lessons walking you through the templates and how to use them. (Subtitles and transcript provided.)

👉🏻Automatic tax savings calculator (woot!)

Feeling in control of your finances can truly be low-stress.

F.A.Q.s

  • All of the info I laid out above can easily make this template sound super fancy and complicated and therefore like it needs to come with a big price tag. Here’s the thing though: it’s all pretty straightforward. You’re nailing down your revenue and clarifying your expenses. In the best way possible, it’s not rocket science. While these templates give you a simple, proven framework to follow, there’s no special sauce, secret formulas, in-depth analysis, or 1:1 coaching. Thus, the lower price-point.

(To be sure, though, straightforward doesn’t mean that it’s not HIGHLY impactful! It’s just that I don’t believe in charging a high price for a (relatively) simple set of spreadsheets, no matter how much impact they might provide.)

  • I designed the planner for service-based businesses, so it’s not really set up for businesses that sell physical products (i.e. need to account for cost of goods sold). That said, if you want to take the templates and adapt them for your product-based business, you can certainly do that!!

  • Oh, VERY good question!! The short answer is yes, the Low-Stress Cash Flow Planner should still work for you. While tax systems of course differ from country to country, money is still money, and cash flow is still cash flow. There is a single cell on a single tab of the spreadsheet that asks how much you’d like to set aside for income taxes. As long as you enter a number that’s appropriate for your country/tax system, you’ll be set!

Note: The planner doesn’t deal with sales tax/VAT/GST type taxes, as these are “flow-through” type taxes and don’t actually impact your cash flow. (Meaning, you’re simply collecting and submitting taxes on behalf of the government, not paying the taxes out of your own pocket.)

  • If you think there’s an error in the spreadsheet, definitely reach out and ask! While I work hard on the templates and try to test them thoroughly, I’m only human and do (occasionally!) make mistakes. I can’t, however, offer free tech support or troubleshooting for user errors. (That said, seriously, if you get stuck, email me. If it’s not something I can help with for free, I’ll let you know and give you some options for getting paid support if you decide you want it.)
