Most (if not all!) of us weren’t taught how to manage finances or do accounting in school. It’s something we’ve had to learn along the way.

Combine that with all the feelings, shame, and self-judgment that can come up when dealing with anything money-related, and it’s a recipe for avoiding our finances and burying our heads in the sand. (Yup, I do it too.)

And so, the Love Your Numbers club was born. It’s a shame-free, compassionate, and neurodivergent-friendly space for people to come and tend to their business finances. A space where no question is too stupid to ask, and you can be supported as you tend to (and start to love!) your numbers.

As someone who does my own bookkeeping, but isn't a bookkeeper, I make mistakes all the time and also run into situations where I don't know how to put it into my books. It's sooooo reassuring and helpful to be able to reach out to Stephanie for a "Aaah what did I do?? How do I fix it??" or a "Ummmm how do I handle this weird situation?" She always helps me figure it out in easy-to-understand terms, and is super friendly and human about it! I never feel stupid or silly with Stephanie!

👉🏻 Monthly Live Office Hours and Co-Working

Get some designated butt-in-chair time!

Because they are important, but not urgent, bookkeeping and money tasks are easy to fall behind on. Having a designated time (and some body-doubling!) can really help. Plus I’ll be there in case you have a question, get stuck on something, or could use some hand-holding or celebration.

We meet monthly for 2 hours (usually 2-4 Eastern). Feel free to come late or leave early - there’s no pressure to stay for the whole session!

(According to members, this alone is worth the membership fee!)

You can find dates for all the upcoming co-working sessions here.

👉🏻 Quarterly Profit Planning Session

A chance to put on your CFO hat and plan your next quarter.

These 90-minute planning sessions give you a designated time to review your pricing, expenses, cash flow, set and adjust financial goals, and anything else that needs to be addressed.

Not sure what you should be looking at or doing? Not a problem. I’ll help guide you through the process and we’ll dive in together!

You can find dates for the upcoming profit planning sessions here.

👉🏻 Voxer Access

Have a bookkeeping, budgeting, or cash flow question? Don’t spend hours Googling or feeling anxious. Voxer me! Voxer is perfect for those questions like:

  • “Can you give me a ball-park for how much I should be setting aside for taxes?”
  • “Remind me: how do I handle refunding a client?”
  • “I’m not seeing my owner’s draws on my Profit and Loss Statement. Where did they go?!”

Note: So as to not be tied to Voxer 24/7, I check and respond to messages on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Remember: there are no true emergencies when it comes to this stuff!

👉🏻 Discounts on 1:1 Bookkeeping/Finance Consults

Sometimes you need more support than Voxer or a co-working session can provide. Maybe there's something wonky going on in your bookkeeping, or you'd like to set a revenue goal that's based on your own values and circumstances, not the generic "six figures".

As a LYN Club member, you get a 20% discount on my 35- and 75-minute "Pick My Brain" type consults.

F.A.Q.s

  • Yes! To be perfectly upfront, I’m running this club as a bit of an experiment. I’m trying to get a feel for how many and what type of questions people have, so ask away! If a question turns out to be too complicated to answer over Voxer, I will let you know.

  • I am not a CPA/tax professional and LYM is not meant as tax support. So while I’m happy (and qualified!) to talk in broad strokes about taxes, I won’t be offering detailed tax information.

  • For two reasons. First: Money can be hard for a lot of people. I wanted to create an “easy yes”, low-barrier-to-entry space for people to get support. LYM is that space.

Second: As I mentioned above, this is absolutely an experiment. If it ends up going sideways, I can always course-correct and adjust things as necessary.

  • Due to the low cost of LYM, refunds aren’t available. You can, however, cancel your membership at any time.

  • If you’d like to cancel your membership, you can click this link and enter the email you signed up with. From there just follow the instructions! (Or just email me, and I’ll get everything canceled for you. 😊)
