Mini-Money Sessions

For people who already have bookkeepers (or do their own bookkeeping), but want compassionate, judgment-free support when it comes to:

  • actually looking at their reports

  • understanding what they’re looking at

  • knowing what to do with the information

Why these sessions?

I know multiple amazing, capable, superbly intelligent business owners who have bookkeepers AND who fully admit they don’t look at the reports they are sent each month.

They know they “should”, and underneath all the feelings, do truly want to look, but for a multitude of reasons, they don’t.

Reasons like:

  • They don’t really understand what they are looking at - and by this point are too embarrassed to ask.

  • If the numbers aren’t quite where they want them to be, they feel down on themselves. (Raises hand - I’ve definitely been here.)

  • They technically understand what the report says, but have no real idea what to DO with the information (other than file it away in a draw).

They wanted, in essence, moral support as they looked at their Numbers.

Support from someone who:

  • Understands the reports themselves and can help translate them from financial speak to “oh, this is information I can actually use”!

AND

  • Knows how to gently hold space for people’s emotions, won’t judge them for whatever comes up during the session, and genuinely cares about them and their business.

what the sessions actually looks like:

  • We meet for 30 minutes.

  • We look at the last 2 or 3 reports your numbers person has sent you, focusing on:

    • Your streams of income (if they are shown) and your overall sales numbers

    • Your expenses

    • How much you paid yourself (this won’t be in the profit and loss report, but we’ll still cover it!)

  • We talk about what those numbers actually mean to you and your business. (Are things good? Could be better? Getting you where you want to be? What might things look like going forward?)

  • We hold space for any and all feelings that come up. Seriously - laugh, cry, get up and dance. It’s ALL welcome!

Most importantly, you walk away feeling more confident because you’ve stopped hiding from your numbers.

  • Good question! You’ll be taken to my scheduling software, where you will find a time that works for you, and pay for the session, all in two easy steps. You’ll get a confirmation email right away (with a quick list of things to gather for the session), and reminder emails 24 hours and 1 hour before the session.

  • If you’re not sure this is a good fit for you right now, head to my contact page and send me a message. Together we’ll figure it out!

  • Good question! I’m cool with rescheduling the session once, as long as you give me 24 hours notice because, you know, life happens. Rescheduling multiple times or canceling with less than 24 hours notice will, at my discretion, result in you forfeiting your session.

    I generally don’t do refunds, so please contact me with questions before you purchase/schedule a session.
